Rescue:

A woman who lives in a small village with her daughter has been feeding local strays for many,
many years. It is not uncommon for people to bring their cats to this village and release them,
intending to never return and leaving the cats to fend for themselves. Close by is a popular
cottage lined lake as well, and sometimes we feel the cats migrate from there. There are
always friendly stray cats in the area. Timmy had been outside for a while it seems, as
he was pretty thin and dirty when he arrived at her feeding station. He was timid at first but
with good food and gentle conversation he quickly showed how friendly and affectionate he
was. He also started to demonstrate his desire to be indoors by pouncing at the door trying to
get in. He had had enough of sleeping on the porch, in the window well or the insulated cat
box for strays. His life has been lonely and difficult until now, so it will be nice for him to have
stability and a lot of love in his future.

Personality:

Timmy is an awesome cat as he is super friendly and affectionate. He appreciates chin
cratches, neck massages and being coo’d over. He loves the love. Happy to be held he likes
to curl up on your lap for attention and a nice nap. This cute fella is very appreciative of being
indoors and for the first three days he just ate and slept. He immediately started kneading the
soft bed in his cage apartment and having lots of food and fresh water available helped him
relax and feel secure. Once he recovered from his ordeal he showed us his playful and fun
loving side. He likes anything that he can chase, and the top perch of the cat tree is a favorite
vantage point to see what is happening in the sanctuary. Timmy is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
