Rescue:

There is a beautiful golf/trailer park resort in the country not far from town which has a motel
across the road from it. The woman who manages the motel has been feeding the strays
there for quite some time. Every year as the season comes to a close she notices a few new
cats living out by the dumpsters. When the campers leave an abundance of food and scraps
are left behind, and so are the cats, no one ever offered one of them a home. Because the
cats are not spayed or neutered there are a couple of litters of kittens born and the feline
population grows. The cats are fed and there is a warm shelter for them during the winter. But
they are still subjected to the dangers of cars, and in particular the big garbage trucks that
come in to pick up the dumpsters, and of course wild life predators. A number of people
frequenting the park reached out for help for these little cats and soon Parker and some of his
colony mates were rescued.

Personality:

When Parker was first brought into our care he was very unsure of his surroundings. He had
never been inside a home that had walls and ceilings, and windows and doors. The people
were foreign to him as well and he was just a little shy about all the changes. But within two
days of being rescued, enjoying endless food, fresh water, a warm bed and toys, he started to
build his confidence and accepted pets and cuddles. Park shows us his appreciation by
raising his tail and purring contently. It has been wonderful watching him evolve and becoming
comfortable, and to see his personality develop. He is a sweet little cat. Park is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
