Rescue
A kind woman who had rescued a mother cat and kittens earlier this year called Pet Patrol this fall for help again. The first litter was born in her window well, which is protected from the weather and is pretty safe. This time she was downstairs in her office and noticed a shadow come over her work space, the sun coming through the window was blocked for some reason. She looked up, and in the same window well was a pretty black cat staring back at her …Nevaeh. The woman just watched, and then she saw a little face pop out and stare at her as well. Nevaeh soon jumped out of the window well, followed by her five week old baby. The woman immediately put out food, and watched to see how many kittens there were. She counted momma and five kittens (three black and two grey and white). With a humane trap, she rescued the four kittens on a Monday, and got momma on a Tuesday. There remained one little grey and white baby, elusive to the trap and very shy. It took until Saturday morning, when they observed the little one trying it’s best to get at the food, without tripping the live trap. But he was soon on his way to safety.
Personality
We are not sure where Nevaeh originally came from. If it was a home, she was pretty young when she found herself abandoned outside. She likes to be petted and have her ears rubbed, although she doesn’t like anyone getting in her face. She plays and runs around like a nut after a toy ball, and really likes when there is cat nip on the floor. Nevaeh has no problem in regards to the other cats and is regularly seen sleeping on the bed with them, in a tight huddle. She needs a home that is quiet and serene, where there are not a lot of loud noises or children. Nevaeh is a pretty black cat who needs a home with patience and bountiful love for her. She is a calm and easygoing cat looking for her forever home.
