Pet Patrol knows of a woman who has rescued and brought to us many cats over the years. She lives in a country community where properties are far apart, you can’t see you neighbour from your front porch, and barns are few and far between. One day she was visiting an elderly couple that she helps with cleaning, shopping and provides some company for them as well. She noticed this long and lean black cat strolling around the detached garage outside. Was he lost? Was he looking for shelter? She knew by looking at him that he was looking for food. Jett was very thin and his coat was dull. She took out some food for him, and he immediately trotted over to her. He was so happy to see a kind person that as soon as he had devoured the food he rubbed up against her legs in delight. She reached down to pet him and he stood up on his hind feet to get closer to her. Jett is a good cat who has been left in a terrible situation of homelessness. He was immediately brought into Pet Patrol care where he has easily integrated in with the rest of the cats and continues to be an affectionate boy.

Named for his jet black fur, Jett is just a super nice cat. He can easily be picked up and carried around, happy to sit on your lap and be company for you. He greets people when they come to the door and makes sure that they feel welcomed. His paws will stretch out and curl up again in a kneading motion when you are petting or holding him. He is very content when getting affection and attention. He is a playful cat in that he likes to chase things, like plastic springs and crinkle balls. The laser pen light is a curious thing for him. Jett is laid back and easy going, not rambunctious but gentle and takes things in stride. All round nice cat. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
