Jamie and his brothers, J.J. and Jonas, were part of a colony that was growing on a nice rural property, where the people fed any cats that showed up. It is assumed that these newer cats are mainly drop-offs and refugees from a barn across the road. Recently that neighbouring farm has been sold, and the barn was torn down and there was nowhere else for the many different coloured kitties to go. Almost all of them are friendly and will wind around your legs, want to be petted and will wait for the people to come outside by sitting on the house window sills looking inside. The couple wanted to keep some of the cats, and agreed to keep any that were unadoptable, but mainly they just wanted to keep the feline population under control through spaying and neutering. Volunteers ventured out and were impressed with the care the cats received and their gentle natures. Soon many of them were brought into Pet Patrol care and they are now ready to find their forever homes.

Jamie and his brothers were timid cats when they first arrived at Pet Patrol, but with time and patience have become sweet natured cats. They are polite and relaxed, they love other cats and like to be pet and brushed. When you are sitting on the couch or laying in bed, they will come and flop down beside you. They are attentive to other cats, and show their affection many times a day, so Pet Patrol is looking for a home that has a buddy cat for them, or hopefully a sibling. Jamie is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the home and keep him safely indoors.
