Pet Patrol received a message from a local low cost spay/neuter clinic that they were going to be supporting a program with the Reservation. These communities do not have the advantages that we have, in regards to consistent veterinary care. From this one location twenty kittens were rescued, all indoor cats. Pet Patrol took ten and another rescue took the other ten. The family had three (if not more) cats in their home and they were all female – and not spayed. As will happen when not altered, all three cats became pregnant around the same time and gave birth in the controlled comfort of a bedroom. However, when the rescuer arrived, the cats had remained in that room the entire time, three mothers and all twenty kittens. The room was not clean, but cluttered with items, furniture and mounds of clothing. The kittens were all chunky and healthy though. Once in our care they received a lot of love and attention and are now ready to be adopted.

Ellie and Eva are very bonded to each other. They are little purr boxes and love to be around people, and crave attention. They are very active in play but they also are calm and give little kisses and snuggle all night long. The sisters love each other more than anything and when you are not with them, you will find them sleeping wrapped in each others arms. When you are home, they are very curious and will follow you everywhere, watching what you are doing. They are very sweet and loving kittens. Ellie is outgoing and readily meets new people. Eva is a little more reserved at first, but once she warms up she is the most snuggly of the two. Both little girls are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
