Pet Patrol received a message from a local low cost spay/neuter clinic that they were going to be supporting a program with the Reservation. These communities do not have the advantages that we have, in regards to consistent veterinary care. From just one of the homes they rescued twenty kittens all living indoors with their mothers. Pet Patrol took ten kittens and another rescue took the other ten. The family had three female cats in their home and they were all unspayed. As will happen when not altered, the cats became pregnant around the same time, and they gave birth in the controlled comfort of one of the bedrooms. However, when the rescuer arrived, the cats had remained in that room the entire time, three mothers and all twenty kittens (Emma being one of them). The room was not clean, but cluttered with items, furniture and mounds of clothing. The kittens were all chunky and healthy though. Once in our care they received a lot of love and attention and are now ready to be adopted.

Emma is a very sweet and special girl. She loves to play around the house with her toys, specially the spring, and she likes snuggles and kisses. She has met children and done well with them, and is good with little dogs too. Emma is very active and playful but also has a calm side to her as well, even docile at times. She has an incredible personality. She is not shy and likes meeting new people. Emma is ready to be adopted into her forever home, hopefully with her brother Enzo. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
