Rescue:

A man on social assistance called Pet Patrol looking for some help. He had eight kittens in
his home! How does that happen? It appears that he and his family have two female cats, but
they could not afford the high prices that were quoted them from the different vet clinics to
have them spayed. At one point the man’s brother needed a place to stay for a short period of
time and moved in with him, but he had a male cat, also not altered. As would happen, because the cat was not kept separate from both of the female cats, they became pregnant. The
first litter came into Pet Patrol care at nine weeks of age, and the second litter followed when
weaned (this is Edward and his siblings Eugene, Elliot and Ella). All the kittens have been
lovingly handled by children in a family setting, and treated with kindness and respect

Personality:

Ella is a bit quieter than her rowdy brothers. She is happy to sit pretty on your lap for some
nice ear scratches. She does however love to climb to the top of the cat tree to watch the
commotion down below and keep tabs on their shenanigans, but not for long though. She is
ready and willing to jump in and join the play and catch a tail or two. She is a bit of a risk taker
and likes to tight rope walk on the edge of the litter box. Funny girl! Ella is ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family with a sibling or
playmate, and keep her safely indoors.
