Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a long time supporter about a small colony of cats. Apparently,
a friend of her son had bought a farm about a year before. Once moved in they realized
there were two female cats residing in the barn. One was feral and one was friendly.
Not being spayed they naturally became pregnant and produced a litter of kittens earlier this
year. They were able to find friends and family to take the kittens into their homes, but the
two females remained unaltered. Fast forward to this fall and our supporter called to see if
we could help with another litter of kittens, finding them homes and help direct them to a low
cost clinic for spaying the sister cats that they wished to keep. In all seven cats came into
Pet Patrol care. One of the felines was a young torti named Diamond, her four kittens (who
were mostly white) and two little black kittens as well. All were extremely thin and a little
concerned but friendly. After good nutrition, play and love and attention the cats have all
blossomed in Pet Patrol care

Personality:

Diamond is a very sweet and adorable little cat. She has warmed up very nicely to us and
continues to come out of her shell every day. She is very affectionate and will let you snuggle
her all night. When you pick her up she will start purring immediately and roll over on her
back for you to rub her belly. Diamond loves to be held and she will let you hold her all day!
She loves cuddles! She will follow you around and watch everything you do and she always
meows when she wants something or just wants attention. Her favorite treat is wet food and
she will always come running for her share. Her favorite thing to do is relax in a sunbeam!
Diamond is a playful cat as well and is very excited when you bring out the wand toy. Diamond
is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors
