Rescue:
Our little Chloe, such an awful life she has led. Pet Patrol received a call from a man who was
quite concerned about her. Apparently, her owners were involved in illegal drugs and when they
moved out of the apartment complex they left her behind, outside in the middle of January. She
had no place to go; but he happened to have a cat door into his apartment. One day she
appeared inside his home and although she was unwelcome by his cats she persevered and
found a warm corner for herself. Chloe not only did not have any winter fur but she did not
have very much fur on her hind end and her belly. This could have been from an allergic reaction
or from stress. The man was kind enough to take her in and shelter her, but being on
disability and having several cats of his own he was not able to keep her. Chloe was very
intimidated by his cats because they would pick on her whenever she left her bed. In very
short order she was brought into Pet Patrol care.
Personality:
Chloe is a petite little cat who has shown us how affectionate and interested she is in her
surroundings. Not the frightened cat portrayed by her rescuer, and not the kitty that spent the
first part of her life living in a chaotic world. She is very appreciative of a clean home, and
someone to cuddle with. She is quite the cuddle bunny and although she does like to play she
is more interested in bonding with her kind human and lapping up all the love she can get. She
is a dear, sweet cat who is deserving of the best life. Chloe is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
