A man contacted Pet Patrol, concerned about this little guy’s well being. It appears that Charlie was just dropped off behind the man’s house, which backs onto a trailer storage yard, to fend for himself. All alone and without comfort or food! The man’s girl friend put food out for this new cat but he would initially run and hide for a bit and then return and eat everything when no one was around. He was starving. One night the woman called after him and waited. Charlie eventually came up close to her for his meal and this time he also let her pet him and he started to purr. Success. She needed to figure out a plan for Charlie and when she went inside he started to cry at the door for her to return. Much to her surprise when she opened the door he came running in and showered her with love. Unfortunately they could not keep him as they already had a few cats of their own and the woman called animal shelters to help. They said they would euthanize him if he was not claimed. Horrified at the thought of Charlie’s life being ended because he was unwanted she continued her search and finally found Pet Patrol.

Charlie is a sweet boy who has put his trust in people before and they have failed him, except for this good hearted couple. He has proven to be an affectionate and lovable cat, who likes to be pet and cuddled. He will follow you around the house, interested in what you are doing and is good company. Having been given a chance to be a house cat again, he shows us his playful side and has developed an attraction for batting around the plastic springs cat toys and catnip mice too. Charlie is an all round nice cat and is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
