Pet Patrol has been rescuing cats for twenty two years now, and we have met many people during that time. One of the very first farms that we helped was owned by a couple who had just bought it. Initially they didn’t know if there were any cats there, but they were in for a big surprise. When Pet Patrol volunteers were called a few months later they found, up in the hay loft, litter after litter of kittens. Some of the moms were friendly and others were frightened, but all needed to be cared for. By now, the couple had started doing just that. In the hay loft there were little nests made from bales of hay, horse blankets and hanging from the ceiling, heat lamps. absolutely everywhere. Last count of cats was over fifty. Many of the rescue organizations know this farm well and has steadily worked with them to control the over population. This year the man asked if we could take this one litter of four (Bradley, Brynley, Brody and Bentley) into our care.

Brody and his siblings have thrived in Pet Patrol care and are now happy and healthy. Brody is a very snuggly and affectionate little cat. In his foster home he can easily be picked up and carried around, is great with the children in the house as well. He, like all kittens, can find fun and play in everything. Cat toys, balls, bags, cardboard boxes and even shoes are a delight. He will meow for attention and affection, call out to his siblings to start games of Tag and Hide and Pounce. Brody is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him and a sibling into the family and keep them safely indoors.
