Rescue:

Pretty little blossom how did you end up here.” These are the thoughts of the woman who
found her. “ I was walking my dog in our small village to the privately owned pet food store
which has a dog run attached to their building. It is open to anyone, and a safe place. I just
found this cat (Blossom) in her carrier with a thin blanket tightly wrapped around it and a
bag of food sitting beside her. It is supposed to be 2° overnight. Who would do this?” Without hesitation she picked up the carrier and headed home with her until Pet Patrol was
able to have her come in to our care. In the meantime, social media posts were sent to the
community site and the store’s website as well. Not a word from anyone knowing anything
about this situation. People are very desperate these days to rehome their pets and rescues and shelters are overflowing. They have no place to turn to. The good thing is that
Blossom was secured in her carrier, attempts were made to keep her warm, and she was
placed where pet people would find her. So very sad and confusing for her though.

Personality:

What a wonderful little cat. It is obvious that Blossom is used to people, being picked up
and carried, and pet, and she will easily bunt her head into your hand for affection and
attention. She is very outgoing and playful, and does not play shy with anyone. She is a
very nice family cat. She came to us in good health, but was not spayed and more than
likely did not have her vaccinations either. But she checked out perfectly at her examination and now is ready for adoption. This playful happy go lucky cat has come through her
situation unscathed, and is now ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely and doors.
