Ruby’s momma, Rihanna was found in a small rural town, where everyone pretty well knows
everyone, and the cats from the local barns come into the village to eat. Some of these cats
were purposely brought to the barns or dumped off near by, thinking that they would be taken
in. Problem is that the farmers don’t need more cats, there are always cats, can’t afford to fix
them all to maintain a small colony, and don’t have unlimited food to care for them all. In
Rihanna’s case she showed up at a woman’s feeding station with brittle, dry fur and a very full
tummy – she was very pregnant. She was missing fur on her sides from possible attacks and
soon she took up residence under the porch. Luckily Rihanna was easily rescued and brought
into Pet Patrol care where she had her kittens in safety surrounded by people who care about
her. (Rebel, Roxy, Rizzy, Rascal, Ruby and Reese)

Ruby is a beautiful classic brown tabby who has big purrs. She loves to be on top of the cat
tree, looking out the window and chattering at all the squirrels, chipmunks and birds. Her
favourite activity is racing through the cat tunnels and chasing her siblings around the room.
The wire dancer toy is one of her favorites, or anything that moves she will pounce on. Ruby
would do best to be adopted with any one of her siblings since you can always find her curled
up with one of them for a good nap. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
