Rescue:
Fletcher is such a lovely boy; it is a shame he was left on the street to try and survive by
himself. He had first been noticed in a small town where there are a number of street cats
that come and go, but Fletcher seemed to stick around. He could be seen crossing the
road, running behind buildings and approaching people for pets. After about a month a
nice couple noticed him and started feeding him. By now he was a little worse for wear
but it didn’t dampen his spirit. They could not resist his charm. Since this location was
right by the highway, they were worried he would be hit on the road and took him inside, but
is was just a temporary situation, they already had three cats and two dogs. Pet Patrol
was called and this wonderful boy came into our care purring the whole time.
Personality:
Fletcher is a really nice cat and like other solid grey kitties he is gentle and cuddly. Greys (also called Blues) are one of the nicest family cats around and this boy is as well. Right from the beginning Fletcher showed how enamored he was with people and wanted to be pet, picked up and carried around right away. He purrs as soon as you touch him, loud and proud. He is such a happy cat. He is playful and agile, loves exploring and is great at scaling the kitty climbers. Fletcher is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
