A woman had contacted our TNR program about needing some help with her barn cats. They were lucky to have her as their caregiver; they were very spoiled as they were allowed in the house rather than kept in the barn all the time. On the bitter cold winter days and nights they enjoyed the comforts of home. Two of her females were pregnant by the time of the phone call. She had had the male fixed once this was discovered, so there would be no more unwanted pregnancies. Once the kittens were born all the cats were kept in the house and the babies raised there. Homes were found for them readily once weaned, but little Valentino was still in hopes of his own family. By now the females had been spayed and this wee little guy was the last kitten of the colony. The woman reached out to see if Pet Patrol would be interested in finding him a loving home which we were glad to do. The woman has since left the farm and moved into town and she brought her 3 barn kitties along, who are now enjoying a cushy indoor life.

Valentino has no fear, and is all about love, play, fun and kitty kisses. He is the sweetest little boy and seeks out people interaction. He has been running around the sanctuary with the other cats, finding the kitty climbers, toys and other cat tails to play with. He is a joy to watch. He has been introduced to a gentle dog and children and seems fine with everyone. Valentino purrs right away when picked up and enjoys sleeping up on the bed beside you. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
