Rescue
Tindel is a rare little kitten, as it is not common for orange tabbies to be females. This little one came from a dog catchers facility that is not set up for cats, but takes them in anyway. There are kennels for the dogs and the rooms are dark, smelly and dirty. There are no kennels for the cats, so they are kept in dirty carriers, up on shelves for days, weeks and sometimes months. They are in those carriers, some small in size and some are larger, but none suitable to accommodate a cat 24/7 with a litter box and sometimes a full litter of kittens too. When rescue groups take them into their care, the first thing the cat does is drink, and drink and drink. Fresh water is a rarity at the kennel. We are not sure of Tindel’s history, and it is sad that she ended up in such a negative environment. But it is a plus that she came to Pet Patrol as she was about to be euthanized the next day.
Personality
Tindel is very appreciative of being rescued from the dog kennel and from what other fate she may have met, if she had not been taken there. She wants to be with you at all times, and will climb into your lap, on your chair and in front of your computer to make sure you are paying attention to her. She is adorable. She loves to play with toys and enjoys the company of the other foster cats and kittens. As energetic as she is, she also likes to curl up by your feet for a nap. Tindel is ready to be adopted into a loving and gentle home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
