Pet Patrol received a call about a blind kitten from an out of town cat rescue organization. Her eyes were frosted over and she could not see anything other than light, dark and some movements. It was pretty hard to watch her stumbling around and being frightened of most movement around her. She was found in a barn, not a particularly nice one, and she was hiding in the hay loft in a bucket, all alone. The owner of the properly wasn’t happy with the number of cats that were there, as they wanted to sell the farm. Shortly after we received this message, Talia came into Pet Patrol care and straight to the vet clinic. The frostiness in her eyes was caused from an eye infection and after trying three different medications we finally found one that started clearing up the scarring on her corneas. Talia has done extremely well in foster care And has gained 60% of her vision back. She is a very happy cat.

Talia is the cuddliest cat her foster family has ever seen. Talia adores laying on her human’s belly and will do anything for a gentle pet on the head. She is closely bonded to her sister, Tiny, and looks to her for support whenever she is unsure. Talia loves to play with wand toys, and chase around toy mice. She has some vision impairment but it never stops her from playing just as actively as any other cat. Talia takes great pride in grooming her human family. She loves to lay with you at the end of a long day and gently cleans your hand while you watch TV. Talia is ready to be adopted into her forever home with her BFF Tiny. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
