Rescue:

Tabitha and Toby came from a local farm that raised beef cattle, pigs and a few chickens. It is a fairly run down property without a lot of extra money and there is a lot of clutter. Broken down machinery, roughly built shacks and rubble surrounded the faded red painted barn. Last year one of our volunteers rescued a number of kittens from the hay loft and hoped that the owner would get the adults fixed to control his colony’s population. Even with the option of a low cost spay/neuter clinic, he still couldn’t afford to fix the moms. This year he realized that there would be even more kittens born and it wasn’t beneficial to anyone. Many kittens suffer from malnutrition and eye infections. Tabitha and Toby were two of the lucky ones and were brought into a wonderful foster home. They have thrived and become happy and healthy little cats.

Personality:

Tabitha is a very happy go lucky exuberant little cat. She loves her people and rolls over and looks at you upside down, and paws in the air, little toes patting the air. Toby loves his sister and they cuddle and played together all the time. He’s a little more reserved but just as loving with his people. Both of them love the kitty climber, looking out the window at the birds and the squirrels and the toys. Oh my! The toys! That is what life is all about with kitties. Both Tabitha and Toby are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
