When Pet Patrol heard about Tabitha, she would have been the fourth cat rescued from one country property. The people who lived there were next door to the woman’s uncle and she had made sure all the cats in the barn were spayed and neutered and adopted, but then here is Tabitha. Heavily pregnant when she first showed up at the farm she gave birth to her kittens in the barn and then all were brought indoors to be raised. Once the kittens were adopted out Tabitha, still being unsocial, was returned to the barn. It was all set up with a heated room for the cats, they were fed twice daily and any vet needs were met. Unfortunately the people were destined to move and all the barn cats were placed on other farms or brought indoors if social, and then there was Tabitha. She eluded all attempts at rescuing her at the time, but the woman was not going to give up on her. Eventually, after several months, Tabitha was brought into Pet Patrol care.

Such a pretty cat with amazing green eyes and rich classic tabby coat. She is beautiful. She is gentle and sweet with the other cats in the sanctuary, always cuddled up with them, licking their heads and keeping them company. She likes to play with all types of toys and gaze out the window at the world, not missing the extreme weather changes at all. Unfortunately she still would prefer we not touch her, which is very disappointing. But we take pride in knowing that she is happy and healthy and would make a great second or third cat in a home. One that will not put expectations on her, but allow her to be the resident cats BFF. Tabitha is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
