Rescue:

Sterling is sweet cat who was going from door to door begging for food. He was in a typical subdivision, and there were no farms or factories near by. We are unsure where he initially came from but it was apparent that he was in need of help. Unfortunately, no one was eager to take full responsibility for him, but one family did take him inside. Even though they thought there might be something wrong with him, he quickly proved to be a lovable and family oriented cat. The family already had five cats and two dogs, so bringing in another mouth to feed was not possible. A local cat rescue was called, but they were unable to care for him at the time so he came to Pet Patrol.

Personality:

What a nice boy. Sterling wants nothing more than to be cuddled and pet. He can easily be picked up and cuddled and will lean right into you with his head on your shoulder. He has a bit of a funny face, and that is because he has quite an overbite. His lower jaw does not come out as far as most and his bottom fangs are behind his upper fangs, rather than beside. But he has no problem eating or grooming himself. He is happy go lucky, gentle and fun loving. He is quite interactive with toys of all kinds and seeks people out often. He is the first to greet you at the door. Sterling is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
