Rescue:

Reba, was a street cat who just showed up one day last summer. She took up living on the
back deck of a country home, finding shelter underneath. She appeared to be in good shape
but then one day she was suddenly very thin, which was a definite sign that she had had kittens. Under the deck must have been sufficient for shelter as her first litter of kittens was born
under there as well. The kittens were rehomed but not being fixed by the people who fed her,
Reba had a second litter of four babies during the snow storm at the end of March. By this
time, they had provided her with a heated cat house and heard the wee peeps of babies.
Thinking it is not the best weather to have kittens outside, and after not sleeping all night worrying about them, the woman moved the babies into a box and then took Reba into a spare
room in the house. Reba was concerned until she saw her kittens and then settled right in.
Now safely indoors and living a luxurious life, it would not be permanent as the family was not
prepared to care for all those cats at one time. Soon Reba and her little feline family were in
a Pet Patrol foster home and all have thrived.

Personality:

Reba is quiet cat with a tiny mew, who loves the comforts of home and has trust in the people
who care for her. She loves affection and to be cuddled, can be picked up and will relax in
your lap for long periods of time. She is such a nice and even tempered cat, a gentle talker
who makes herself known so that she receives more pets and love. She is playful as well,
especially with cat nip toys and things that she can chase. She seems good with other cats
who are friendly and like to cuddle. All round Reba is a very nice girl who is looking for a
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
