Rescue:

It is always nice when city people are able to find a property in the country, away from the hassle and bustle of traffic and congestion. One such couple finally found their dream property, a small hobby farm with a decent house and a small barn. The cats in their barn are all spayed or neutered and the other animals are well looked after too. During the Christmas holidays this little kitten, Pixie, showed up. They have no idea where she originated from, but it is not unusual for people to dump cats in the country. At first they were going to keep this little one as part of their barn colony, but the cats in there were bullying her, so they brought her into the house. It was just a temporary situation until they found another home for her, because they already had two house cats, and they didn’t want any more. Unfortunately the house cats were picking on Pixie as well and everyone was upset. Pixie came into Pet Patrol care and has done very well, and no one is picking on her here.

Personality:

What a darling little cat. Pixie is a petite little calico cat who likes her people and is good with other cats as well. She is playful and active, likes the kitty climbers, watching the birds from the window sill, and will chase after toys that roll, bounce, crinkle, jingle or wiggle. She is curious and will check things out, but maybe a bit cautious in the beginning. Pixie doesn’t mind being picked up gently and will sit on your lap once she is comfortable with you. This little Miss is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
