Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who was quite concerned about a pretty little silver
tabby cat. At first she thought she was a kitten, maybe six months old, but then she realized her
big potbelly was caused by pregnancy. They tried to rescue her before she had the kittens but
she evaded all attempts. A feeding station was set up for her, fresh food and water put out
daily to keep her close. When her kittens were born it was quite obvious as she had slimmed
down completely. Now we had to wait until the kittens were old enough to come out of the nest
and start heading to the food dishes. When they were about seven weeks old they were rescued
and were socialized within a few days. Homes were found and finally, after many attempts,
Paris was rescued and brought to Pet Patrol. She wasn’t really sure what to think
about this change in her life but soon adapted.

Personality:

Paris has come a long way since arriving at Pet Patrol as a fearful and cautious kitty. Once in
her foster home she has become calm, happy and quite the playful girl. She now readily rolls
over for a belly rub. This pretty girl enjoys looking out the window and meowing at the birds,
chasing after little spring toys , running through the kitty tunnel and playing with the ball in the
maze. She chats and hangs out with the resident cats, enjoying their company and showing
affection. She doesn’t seem to mind the family’s large dog as long as it’s from a distance.
She can be a little nervous of fast movement but with time to adjust she will be fine. Paris will
come to you for affection and will put her paw in your hand like she is holding it, then fall into a
sweet sleep. Paris is ready to be adopted into her forever home with another gentle cat. One
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
