This email came to Pet Patrol about this lovely boy Opy : I live on a rural property near a nice town and periodically cats are dumped on or near our driveway. Shy at first they eventually come up to the house for food when they become hungry. I have found homes for some but have run out of contacts here at work and through family and friends. Then Opy arrived. He has been around for a while and I now have him in a dog kennel in my garage. I checked the community vets and no one recognizes him. Also checked the Facebook site for lost animals and he is not listed. One vet checked him out for me last Friday. He was already neutered, has no microchip, been dewormed, treated for fleas, claws clipped and cleaned up from the burrs on his fur. Opy is very friendly and it is clear he had a home at one point but not with anyone that has reported him missing.

Opy is quite a hungry heart and loves the attention and to be held. He will likely make a very good lap cat, cuddle buddy and excellent company. Preowned cats that are rescued off the street are very grateful for the comforts of home when they are offered to them again, and this is the case with Opy. He is bright, alert and always ready for his people. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
