Pet Patrol received a message from a local shelter about Ollie. This gorgeous long haired boy was having a difficult time settling in and they were unable to find a home for him. His original owner turned him in to be re-adopted because they just didn’t have time for him. Soon afterwards he was in a new home, but it was a small apartment and he felt confined and was quite stressed out. Over the holidays his owner took Ollie to his parents home, a nice sized family home, and Ollie did just fine. The parents were not keen on having a cat, so Ollie once again was at the shelter. By now he was pretty upset and not doing well. Pet Patrol took him in, and he is in a foster home where he took a little bit of time to settle in; but he is doing much better now.

Loving, affectionate, lap cat, that is the description of Ollie. He is a dear cat, who loves his people and is quite interactive with them. He is food motivated and it is quite easy to get him into the carrier with a treat or two, or just for initial bonding. He is very intelligent and great at playing with toys. Ollie loves being with people the most and will follow you around from room to room. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
