Minka was found wandering around the city streets near a very busy intersection. Three university students living in a townhouse noticed her in their complex and were quite concerned about her safety. This little cat came right up to them and showed how friendly and sweet she was. They noticed that she had good weight on her, coat was shiny and her white paws were dirty. This meant that she was owned by somebody but who. When she was brought into Pet Patrol care we found she had a microchip which was awesome, we could get her back to her family and those that loved her. But with further investigation we found that her owners had split up last year and she had been rehomed a few times since then. Our last lead of who might have lost sweet Minke from their home came up empty. Our hopes were that someone would report her missing to the local city shelter, but that never happened. So Minka now is ready for her forever, forever home!

This little black and white cat is adorable. She loves her people she makes herself at home right away, she’s not shy and she’s not wary of new places or new things. She lived with another cat before and they got along extremely well. They could be found curled up with each other or playing games during the day. Minka is easy to pick up and cuddle, is chatty when she wants your attention and is an all-around wonderful girl. We can’t say enough about her. Minka is ready to be adopted into her forever home, one that will keep her safely indoors and welcome her into the family.
