Rescue:

Lizzy and her two sons Grayson and Weezer are sociable and affectionate cats who needed
new homes. Lizzy was originally found as a young stray cat and luckily rescued into a home
that loved her and thought she was very pretty. She developed into a nice a family pet, but
unfortunately was never taken to the vet. She was allowed to be with unneutered males and as
would happen she became pregnant. The kittens were raised in the house and once weaned
rehomed, but they kept Weezer. Neither cat was vaccinated or spayed or neutered, and once
again Lizzy had a litter of kittens and the family kept one from that litter, named Grayson. Life
changed for this family and Pet Patrol was not privy to the details, but the cat’s owner asked a
friend to look after them for a while. It was expected that it would only be for about two months
and then returned to the original owner. Unfortunately, they never came back for them. Unable
to keep them herself, although she was tempted, because she already had cats of her own,
two dogs and four children it just wasn’t feasible. All three cats came into Pet Patrol care and
are now ready to find a forever home.

Personality:

Lizzy is a very affectionate and gentle cat. She loves being pet and cooed to, will bunt her
head into you for attention and purrs deeply. With some cats, when they roll over and show
their belly it is not always an invitation to give them a tickle, but for Lizzy it is. She loves belly
rubs, back massages and ear rubs too. She has no problem with other passive and accepting cats. She is good company and will show you her playful side with any interactive toy,
catnip mice or even a ping pong ball. In the sanctuary she has taken full advantage of the
window views, cat trees and sunny window sills. This very attractive girl is ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
