Lainey is a pretty little grey tabby female who came from a dairy farm. It is not uncommon for Pet Patrol to take in kittens and friendly cats from barns, so that they have a life indoors, where it is safe and their health and well being is monitored. For Lainey she was born in the hay loft as part of a litter of five kittens. It was pretty late in the year and the weather was unpredictable, changing from sunny to rainy or windy to damp. The mother cat was smart enough and brought her babies to the back door of the house when it started getting cold. She got the property owners attention and they brought them all inside. Lainey and her feline family become healthy and socialized while in their care, and homes were found for everyone but Lainey. Soon she came into the care of Pet Patrol and has done very well.

Lainey is one of the sweetest kittens we have. She is gentle and loving, purrs easily and likes to be with her people. She is easy to pick up and carry around, and will settle right into your arms, like she was meant to be there. She has an active kitten side to her as well and loves to play. She is quite intrigued by the toys we have at the sanctuary, and loves the kitty tunnel and scratching post. She looks out the window, watching the neighbourhood and is keen on what is happening in the building too. Lainey is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
