Rescue
Pet Patrol receives their cats from many different locations, for different reasons and under different circumstances. In the case of Jimmy and his colony of cats, they came from a rural property. When the woman moved in there were just two cats. She tamed them and quite enjoyed having a couple of cats wandering around the property. Then in the spring, there was a litter of kittens born and the woman was entertained and bemused by the antics of the little ones. All the cats were well fed and sheltered, and they were cared for in every way except for being spayed or neutered. Three years later she finds herself in a position where she has to move from the rented property back into town. By this time, there are thirty five cats! and no one to care for them after moving day. The landlord was not going to be left holding the bag on this one and the woman had to find a place for them. So through the help of a coordinator and many different rescue groups, most of the colony has been rescued. Luckily for them the woman did take the time to tame them.
Personality
Jimmy is a very loving and active cat. It can be a challenge to get his picture because his attention span is short and he likes to know everything that is going on. He likes to run back and forth in the house and then slide! He is super cute and a happy cat. Jimmy likes to play and tries to get the other kitties into games of chase and Indy 500. He is ready to be adopted into a gentle and loving home. One that will welcome him as part of the family and keep him safely indoors. He is a great little cat.
