Rescue:

It’s not uncommon for stray cats to venture close to houses to try to get people to help them. If
they’ve been handled before then there is that sense of trust and knowing that people control
the food and water and shelter for them. In the case of our pretty little Izzy, she just showed up
at a house in a small town. She’d been hanging around for a couple of weeks and was staying
underneath the neighbour’s garage. This was one that was separate from the rest of the house
and had access. Once she realized she could be fed Izzy was a constant visitor to this house
and they soon realize that she needed some help being rescued. She would rub up against
their legs and showed how friendly she was. Izzy was soon brought into Pet Patrol care where
we tried to find her original owner through social media and community postings. No one has
come forward and soon she was spayed and vaccinated and is now ready for her new home.

Personality:

This pretty girl is very sweet and gentle. She can easily be picked up and carried around, and
is soon placing her little paws on your shoulder and bunting her head into yours. All the while,
when receiving love and attention, Izzy is purring loudly and with complete contentment. She
adjusts easily to new environments without worry or concern, greeting people right away and
making herself at home. Just the nicest little cat. Toys have provided great entertainment for
her and she is especially fond of catnip mice. Izzy is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
