Rescue
When you live in a small village, surrounded by countryside, it is not uncommon for cats to find their way to your door. Such is the case of this little cat named Hillary. Although there is a farm close to where she was found, the couple did not feel that Hillary was from there. They had had other cats meander over to their home, but not in the dead of winter, only when the weather was warm and they were being adventurous. We do fthink that Hillary was dumped in this village and left for dead. She was discovered sitting on the front porch of this couple, and when she realized that she was spotted, she immediately started to knead the mat she was sitting on. She ran up to them, rubbed up against their legs and wanted to be picked up. Having a dog in the house, a husband in need of serious surgery and being back and forth to the hospital, they did not feel they could bring her into the house, even to be kept in one room. A box with a fuzzy blanket was put in their enclosed porch and that is where Hillary lived for the next few months. The woman emailed Pet Patrol and soon Hillary was in our care.

Personality
Hillary is a very sweet, petite little cat, who fit into her foster home without incident. She is gentle and loving, easy going and does not complain or become agitated. She is such a nice little cat. Once she settled in she showed us her playful and curious side. Hillary will check out any box, bag, cupboard or closet, just so she knows where things are and where toys and treats are kept. She likes to be with people and does not mind the other cats. This kitty is ready for her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors. She is adorable.
