One day, in the middle of winter a little girl came upon Grey as she and her family were out for their regular evening walk. He was thin, crying and had such a look of desperation on his face. He was desperate indeed. It was obvious that he had not had food or shelter for a very long time, and was at the doorstep of dying of exposure. Both his ears were tipped with frost bite and, over time, once rescued he lost a good portion of his ears to this. Being of kind hearts and a family that has been involved with cat rescue, they didn’t hesitate to bring Grey home with them. They could see he needed help. Initially wanting to keep him, but their other two cats were having no part of it. So they let him recuperate in their home with lots of love and attention. He gained his health back and put on weight. He continued to impress them with his personality. Grey arrived already declawed, so they knew he must have an owner somewhere. He was reported to the local shelter and other rescue groups; as well as on their community Face Book page. No one came forward. We may never know where this dear boy came from, but he is safe and sound now.

Friendly is an understatement for this boy. He is very social, loves all people including children of all ages. He is fun loving and gentle, playful and sweet natured and curious about everything. He likes to be cuddled, pet and have belly rubs too. Grey (named because they thought his colouring looked more grey than brown tabby) has proven to be a lovely cat who is not timid or unsure, but confident and interactive with everyone. He is just a treat. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home, one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
