Rescue:

Georgie is a sweet boy who has had a pretty rough life so far. He was owned by an older
woman who had a mother cat, her litter of kittens and an elderly dog as well. It was a financially
deprived home, there wasn’t much to go around and the pets never went to the vet. At
one point she turned over the mother cat and kittens to another cat rescue organization which
guided her in the right direction to get the two male cats neutered and vaccinated. Fast forward
four months and the same rescue received a call from the neighbour about this lady.
Animal control had been into the older woman’s apartment, she had vacated without taking
any of her nonessential belongs and had abandoned Georgie, another cat and the dog. How
sad. The neighbour took in the boys but was highly allergic and unable to keep them. Soon
they were on their way to Pet Patrol and a stable life.

Personality:

Georgie loves his people and is happy to be pet and brushed. We don’t know much about his
daily routine or favourite things to do from his original home, but do know that his personality is
people oriented and that he is naturally affectionate. He was concerned when he came into
Pet Patrol care initially, but soon relaxed and began to venture out and seek attention. Like
most cats he likes catnip and has been found rolling around on the floor with a favourite nip
scented mouse toy. Lovely to see him happy and silly. Georgie is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
