Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a university student, who helps to manage a small apartment building. She noticed a mother cat and her kittens playing in the bushes behind the parking lot. It was a fairly safe place because it was away from the road, behind the building and there was a lawn between them and the driveway. But that would only last until the kittens got older and started to explore. Being proactive the student knew that for their safety and survival this feline family needed to be rescued. They borrowed two traps from Pet Patrol to double their chances of rescuing them. Success. Once in her care they were quickly adopted by people she knew would have them spayed/neutered and kept indoors, but little Georgie was on his own. She continued to care for him, and tried to find a home for him as well, but no luck and soon he came into Pet Patrol care. At the time of this writing, the mother can had disappeared, but the word has been put out for neighbours and other tenants to keep an eye out for her. She needs to be rescued as well.

Personality:

Georgie is shy and it can take some time to earn his trust, but once you do he’s the biggest love bug. He likes to follow his foster mom around the house chirping for attention. As soon as she sits down anywhere he’s begging to sit in her lap and will sleep there contently forever. He also loves to cuddle at night and will let you tuck him under the covers with you or might decide to knead your back like a little massage. His super soft fluffy fur makes him the perfect teddy bear! Although sweet, he can also get into mischief and loves to play, especially with his foster brother. Georgie would do well with another cat, or even a respectful dog, to play with and to show him that his new parents are worth his trust. This kitty is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
