Rescue:

One day a lady was tending to her horses in the barn when she suddenly noticed wee kittens wandering around. It was in the late fall and the weather was chilly, damp and the temperatures changed rapidly. They were pretty skittish, but adorable and the woman could not help but be drawn to them. Some were near the horses, which was quite concerning and others were near the chicken coop which was not occupied at the time. In all there were seven kittens and it appears that they were abandoned. Sometimes people just don’t know what to do with the many litters that are produced by their own cat, who is not spayed, so they dump them on country properties, not realizing that they are unwelcome. In this case one of the partners did not want to be bothered with the cats, and the other took care of them, and found homes for three of them. They were in the midst of moving all their horses to another barn, and in doing so the last four, Forest, Fia, Farla and Flynn, did not get the attention they needed for a while. But they were rescued and brought into Pet Patrol care so that they would not be left behind, once again abandoned.

Personality:

Forest is an adorable and sweet looking cat who has come a long way in making himself comfortable in a home and with people who care about him. He is a little timid, but friendly and affectionate, and learning to be a cuddler and a lap cat. Forest is a smaller boy who is quite playful and happy to engage in a game of catch the feather on the wand, chase that little red laser light dot and is curious about new toys, boxes and bags. He is receptive to new people and likes them to pet him. Forest is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
