Fargo‚Äôs mother, Fae, is a very friendly and affectionate cat, obviously been raised with people and treated kindly because she is so gentle. But somehow she found herself living on the street and asking strangers for food and attention. One man took it upon himself to help her since he recognized that she was pregnant, and brought her home. He was living with his 80 year old mother at the time and she is not a fan of cats, she has never liked them and for reasons we don’t really know. She relented by letting Fae be in their storage room, and within a short period of time she had her five little kittens (Fabio, Farli, Flurri, Fargo and Finnegan). The son was quite enamored with the little ones and spent time handling them and petting Fae. He was to find homes for the kittens, but procrastinated and his mother was relentless about the situation. One day he just moved out, but he left the cats behind. Fae was abandoned once more, living in a storage room with all sorts of unsafe things the kittens could get into, and unwanted again. Eventually the woman was put in touch with a Pet Patrol volunteer and Fae and her kittens were whisked away and into our care. The woman had threatened to throw them outside and with that we took no chances.

Fargo is always playing with his brother Farli. They are like two peas in a pod. He loves to paw at shoelaces and full out attacks the running shoe. Anything that dangles is fair game. He will chatter to the birds outside and the laser pointer is the best thing ever. He likes to run, climb up the scratching post and play games of Pounce. Fargo is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
