Rescue:

When Ella was first noticed on a country property she was very skinny but had a little bit of
a belly. The woman who is feeding the many cats there decided that Ella must be pregnant
and fed her twice daily, whereas the other cats were rationed out to once a day. She was
fed table scraps as well as regular cat food and she gained weight nicely. The woman
didn’t want Ella to have her kittens out in the farm so she took her to a rescue organization
who patiently waited for the kittens to be born. That takes about 8 weeks gestation. At 10
weeks the rescue organization was convinced Ella could be spayed, not pregnant, just a
little bit chunky. She came into Pet Patrol care soon afterwards.

Personality:

Ella is a dream. She is a very affectionate, loving and social cat. With her people she is a
wonderful companion and a nice cat to have in an adult home. She loves the advantage of
soft couches and beds over hay bales and wooden railings to sit on, is a big fan of the warm
sunbeams streaming through the windows, and is very content to stay indoors. Ella can be
chatty and will follow you around the house, seeing what you are doing. She will let you
know what she wants, rubs up against your legs and greets new people at the door. She is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors
