Eliza’s grandma, Ezra, came to Pet Patrol with a lot of offspring. Her sons Elam, Elijah, Edison and daughters Ella and Eva. Plus four little grand babies. Wow! That is a lot of kitties to take into our care all at once. But they are all friendly, affectionate and sweet natured. Ezra and her crew came from a farm property that is located way off the main road. A young family was renting the house and the children discovered her in the hayloft with her litter of kittens. They socialized them and as the kittens grew bigger they started following the children into the house. Now they were indoor / outdoor cats which in one way was nice because they didn’t have to worry about cold nights, rainy days or the hot sun. But
being allowed to roam freely created other problems like becoming prey to coyote and fox. There were a few harrowing experiences for them during that time. Having other pets for their own, and now another litter of kittens born to the now grown daughters, was becoming unmanageable for the family. They eventually found Pet Patrol and all the cats were all brought into our care. They have proven to be very nice pets and deserve a forever home.

Eliza is the last remaining cat from that small feline family. She is gentle, loving and fun. She is like any indoor family pet, carefree and takes in the love and attention of the people around her. She is used to children and other cats, and even the gentle family dog was a friend. She has shown us her expertise at chasing down and catching a fly that got into the building, with agility and style. Toys are so very interesting to her, and she loves the little kitty house on top of the big cat climber. Eliza’s sweet face and deep appreciative purr gives her the ability to steal hearts. What a gem! She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
