Pet Patrol received a message from a local low cost spay/neuter clinic that they were going to be supporting a program with the Reservation. These communities do not have the advantages that we have, in regards to consistent veterinary care.  From this one location twenty kittens were rescued, all indoor cats. Pet Patrol took ten and another rescue took the other ten. The family had three (if not more) cats in their home and they were all female – and not spayed.  As will happen when not altered, all three cats became pregnant around the same time and gave birth in the controlled comfort of a bedroom. However, when the rescuer arrived, the cats had remained in that room the entire time, three mothers and all twenty kittens, Eenie, Ebony and Ender being among them.  The room was not clean, but cluttered with items, furniture and mounds of clothing.  The kittens were all chunky and healthy though.  Once in our care they received a lot of love and attention and are now ready to be adopted.

Eenie-Meenie, a nickname that stuck for being the smallest of the siblings, is a gentle, loving little girl. She is more cautious than her brother and sister, but absolutely loves playing with them and being gently cuddled and held by people once she becomes a bit more confident. When resting she loves to snuggle on your lap or chest or next to you on a blanket. As long as she has loving company, Eenie is a contented and relaxed little girl. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
