Pet Patrol received a message from a local low cost spay/neuter clinic that they were going to be supporting a program with the Reservation. These communities do not have the advantages that we have, in regards to consistent veterinary care.  From this one location twenty kittens were rescued, all indoor cats. Pet Patrol took ten and another rescue took the other ten. The family had three (if not more) cats in their home and they were all female – and not spayed.  As will happen when not altered, all three cats became pregnant around the same time and gave birth in the controlled comfort of a bedroom. However, when the rescuer arrived, the cats had remained in that room the entire time, three mothers and all twenty kittens, Ebony, Ender and Eenie being three of them.  The room was not clean, but cluttered with items, furniture and mounds of clothing.  The kittens were all chunky and healthy though.  Once in our care they received a lot of love and attention and are now ready to be adopted.

Ebony is a bright and affectionate girl who enjoys being with her siblings and absolutely loves people. Whether it’s playing with toys, being fed food or treats, or snuggling up for a nap, Ebony loves company, affection and lots of interaction. She is comfortable with people of all ages picking her up and likes to explore her surroundings. She also may just cover your face with kitty kisses!  Ebony is ready to be adopted into her forever home.  One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
