Rescue:

A woman who lives in the country noticed that over time stray cats would show up on her property. The cats were usually friendly, if timid at first, and had obviously been dropped off at the farm. Dax and Deacon arrived at the property shortly before another cat showed up. It was early fall and, seeing that the cats were young and defenseless, the woman began feeding them. The farm had a barn, but with no current occupants and very little space it was not a suitable home for the cats. The woman decided to bring the cats in at night, as there was a room in the basement suitable for them, but they spent the day outside. Sadly, the other pets in the house were not very fond of the visitors. Eventually the woman found Pet Patrol and was happy to bring them into our care.

Personality:

Dax and Deacon are very curious and good with both other cats and people. They are quite attached to each other, so it would be a shame to separate the two boys. They lean on each other for company, cuddling, play time and for checking out every corner of the house. They’re quite chatty, like to wrestle and play, and are the best lap cats ever. Dax and Deacon would like to be adopted together into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
