Daryl lived in a home with many other cats . His owners were disabled and because they loved kitties, people would often take advantage of them. If neighbours or even family members, needed to find a new home for their cat, received a kitten as a gift, or their cat had kittens, they knew they could easily talk this couple into taking the unwanted feline. Their income was incredibly restricted, and they could barely make their rent payments, so feeding their increasing colony in the house was difficult. At risk of being evicted after the landlord found out how many cat there were, and the crowded living conditions, they reached out to a rescue organization, who in turn contacted Pet Patrol. Daryl came into Pet Patrol care with Sacha, Lil’ Wayne and his buddy Kurtis the orange cat. He is a much happier boy now.

Daryl is nice boy who is gentle and sweet. He was a little shell shocked when he first arrived at the sanctuary because everything was so strange to him. But he accepted petting from day one and soon adjusted very well to his new surroundings. Daryl can be found snuggled up to the other cats a lot of the time and seeks them out for playtime. He likes games of Tag, wrestling or chasing after the laser pen light. Anything that dangles is a treat. Daryl is ready to be adopted  into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep them safely indoors.
