Homeless cat colonies are everywhere. When a cat is not spayed she will have a litter of kittens, once, twice and sometimes three times in a year. They will seek out shelter where ever they can, and buildings, sheds, decks and abandoned cars become shelter for them. Not ideal mind you, not like a home, but maybe enough to keep the wind, rain and snow off of them. Conan and his feline family were living in a trailer park close to a small town. The people living there were feeding some of the cats, but not doing anything about the breeding issues. When all of the female kittens mature, and breed in the same year, then the colony explodes rather quickly and helpless kittens are born unwanted. A woman was visiting her friend at the park and seeing the colony grow, they started to rescue some of the kittens and two of the moms. She brought Conan and his two sisters in and tried socializing them, then sought out rescue organizations to help with finding the cats permanent homes..

Conan was unsure of his new foster home when he arrived with his sisters. He soon warmed up and purrs beautifully when pet and is now quite a confident and lovable cat. Like his mother he is a gentle player, and can be found sharing a toy with the other cats of his own age. He likes cardboard boxes, toys that dangle and the cat tunnel is a favourite. Conan is a very handsome boy with auburn colours in his coat which are rich and make him quite handsome. He is ready to be adopted into an adult only home that is predictable and easy going. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
