One of Pet Patrol’s volunteers who lives in a small village noticed Cinders at her feeding station. She has a heated cat house, heated water dishes and both dry and canned food out for the cats at all times. There have been as many as 16 cats eating on her porch at one time, and although some don’t like to share, they all seem to get their fill of food. Kittens are rescued and adopted out, ferals are rescued, spayed or neutered and released back to the environment that they know. There is food and water for them, and many of the cats migrate from the closest barn to her property, so they have shelter all year round. At least this way it will help to control the over population of felines in her area. Cinders started to really show his friendly side once the street bully was rescued, and finding him to be a friendly boy, was adopted. Now Cinders could relax and started to show his friendly side. He was a good supervisor for her while she was gardening, as he would watch her from the patio chair, and he was always on time for his breakfast and dinner. Eventually it was time for him to be rescued and brought into our care.

Cinder is a calm and easy going cat, but one that we are seeking a nice hobby or horse farm for. He is not frightened of people but he is not touchable. He is great with other cats though, and can even be found cuddling up with them. What we look for in such farm properties is a heated room in the barn where they will be fed daily, have fresh water and access to the room at all times. There they can find warmth, privacy and can be kept track of on a daily basis. This handsome boy is ready to be adopted to a conscientious country property where he will be cared for.
