Catie is a kitty that was living in a very small village just minutes from the city limits. She made her rounds to the houses and some fed her, and she found shelter in other areas, but no one really knew where she came from and no one took her into their care. Catie was shy and unsure of people, but one man was able to pet her. He has seen her many times walking through his yard, across his patio and down his drive doing her rounds of the neighbourhood. He realized that Catie was incredibly thin and put some food out for her, then one day she appeared to be limping. Feeling that she needed help, he called around to see if anyone would help, and eventually found Pet Patrol. Once in our care, and after a vet examination it was felt that she has injured a tendon in her back left leg, and there was little to do to help that but time. Catie still has a bit of a limp but that doesn’t stop her from doing the stairs, jumping up on the climber and running around in play with the other cats.

She has come around nicely from a timid and unsure cat, to one that rubs up against your legs, purrs deeply and likes to be pet. She is still guarded with that leg, but does like a good head and chin scratch and enjoys the attention of people. Catie is great with the other cats and will stand side by side with them, sharing the food dish and likes to have a cuddle with them as well. Catie is ready to be adopted into a gentle and serene home, hopefully with a kind companion kitty. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
