So very tiny! Those were the first words spoken by the woman who found Cameo. This wee little kitten was just six week old when noticed on the opposite side of the road from where the woman was sitting outside her home. Upon hearing a kind voice, Cameo raced across the road towards the woman, almost got hit by a huge truck, and then hid under a parked car. Just makes your heart stop. It didn’t take much coaxing for the kitten to come out to the safety of the woman, and then directly into the house. She noticed that there was some facial injuries, scabbing beside her nose, bottom lip was torn and there was a bone sticking out from her lower gum line. Since she was sharing accommodations with people, the woman was not able to keep Cameo as her pet, and started calling around to other rescues in her area. None could take her as they were full, it was fall kitten season. Pet Patrol happened to have one space available and soon she was brought into our care.

Cameo’s injuries were addressed by the veterinarian right away and with some cleaning up and a few stitches she was good to go. She has thrived while in Pet Patrol care, is happy go lucky and loves to be pet and played with. Cameo is especially fond of being cuddled and will lightly chew on your fingers, and give you kitty kisses. She is adorable, sweet natured and very relieved to be cared for. She is a playful and outgoing kitty who likes to run and jump around after toys, fluff and kitty cat tails. She is very entertaining. Watching her evolve from a thin and disheveled kitten to a healthy and mischievous little cat has been rewarding and endearing. Cameo is now ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
