Rescue:

A woman had called Pet Patrol about a stray cat that she’s been feeding on her back deck.
The cat had shown up in the middle of the summer when the weather was scorching hot
there was a little breeze, and even the shade was warm. Where would a cat go to find
comfort, food and especially water. This was Bob. Luckily, he was noticed by a woman
who saw him in her backyard. She did not recognize him as one of the neighbourhood cats
and started putting out food and water for him. He immediately indulged, but only once
she had gone back into the house. By the time she found Pet Patrol, and a safe haven for
him, Bob had been a regular visitor for about 3 to 4 months. In that time she watched him
progress from a thin, hungry and skittish cat to a confident and affectionate boy. With a full
belly of food and someone watching out for him he showed his true personality of being
friendly and gentle.

Personality:

Bob is an awesome cat. He loves to have his head scratched, behind his ears and down
his back. It looks like his tail was injured at one point but has no problem with being pet
down his back to the end of his tail. He is a very calm and easy-going boy, good with other
felines and people alike. Sometimes he’s a little nervous about people he doesn’t know,
but since coming into Pet Patrol care he has been nothing but a wonderful friendly and
social cat. We may never know where Bob originally came from, he was not neutered so
he could be many, many, miles away from his owner. He’s a lucky boy to have somebody
who watched over him and took care of him and allowed him to regain his health. Bob is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safe indoors.
