Rescue:

Ava and her brother Ace, were living in the middle of downtown and their mother, Raven, was completely feral. She was a protective mother though and incredibly smart. Most cats will have their kittens under decks or sheds, in outbuildings or even gopher holes. But Raven had her kittens up in the attic of an abandoned house. The property had not been cared for and the windows and doors were boarded up. The eaves troughs were falling down and the bricks were crumbling in places. But there was a tall tree situated right beside the house and the branches were growing over part of the roof. The one neighbour saw Raven scampering up the tree and disappearing into the roof of the house, but shortly after saw little kittens peeking out. Raven picked up a kitten in her mouth and carried it down the tree, one after another, until finally all three kittens were safely on the ground. Knowing that this was a precarious nursery for the babies, the neighbour rescued the one kitten as it was trying to climb the tree, and the other two ( Ace & Ava ) came in shortly after that. Raven was rescued the next day and reunited with her kittens. All have been spayed or neutered and Raven is happily living on a country property.

Personality:

Ava is quite the little girly girl, and very fun loving like her brother Ace. The two of them play and cuddle together a lot. There are other kittens in the house for them to interact with as well, and they do, but it is noticeable that they migrate to each other. Ava is interested
in all that you do, and will watch her brothers antics and then follow his lead. She loves her toys and chases things that roll and bounce. She thinks the feather wand toy is great, and loves the kitty climber. Her brother might be the King of his castle up there, but she is definitely the Princess. Ava is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and include her brother Ace, and keep them safely indoors.
