Aubrey was born into a farming life style where things are done the traditional way and common luxuries such as cars and electricity are not always available. The farm was on one of the back gravel roads, far from the highway or a village. The family living on the property were very good to the cats, making sure they were fed and had fresh water daily. They taught their children to play nicely with the cats and to be gentle with the kittens. The time came when they would be moving off the farm and they didn’t want to leave the kitties behind. They had two or three children who loved the cats and the parents wanted to make sure they knew where they were going. The family reached out to Pet Patrol and Aubrey and her litter mates came into our care.

Aubrey is so named because her orange coat is the deepest colour of auburn that we have ever seen. Absolutely stunning. She is gentle and sweet and loves to cuddle into your arms. Probably from curling up to the children, as they sat on hay bales, to keep warm. She has been exposed to the farm dogs and doesn’t seem to worry about them, providing they are passive. She is petite and playful, loving the toys and kitty climbers and has no interest in being outdoors. Aubrey is a pretty special little cat who will bring a lot of joy to her people. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
